Our Story
Maison Mornings started with a quiet kind of encouragement. Jason, a dedicated chef, was at a crossroads, thinking about leaving the industry which he had poured many years of hard work into — until his partner, Ivy, encouraged him to chase his dream of starting something of his own.
The idea took shape during a walk through Sydney alongside Jason’s mum, Merly, where they noticed how many local cafés had closed down. That conversation sparked something special—why not open their own cafe? A place that is welcoming where people could connect, enjoy good food and coffee, and feel right at home.
Maison means home.
The name also carries the story of the people behind it: Merly, Ivy, and Jason.
